Dr. Highsmith is one of five AACD (American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, www.aacd.com) accredited members in North Carolina. There are over six thousand AACD members but only about two hundred and fifty accredited members worldwide. The process is grueling, requiring razor sharp photographs of your work being scrutinized by very picky examiners trying to find things wrong with it.
